Hey Arnold Pilot

The original pilot, which was released by Paramount Pictures and Nick Movies on July 10, 1996, in theaters with Nickelodeon's first feature-length movie, Harriet the Spy. It was later remade into the episode "24 Hours to Live" which was aired on March 7, 1997. The pilot episode wasn't seen again until March 2009 when it was uploaded to YouTube.

Dino Checks Out: Dino Spumoni is found missing and then declared dead after what appears to be a suicide attempt. However, Arnold finds out that this isn't the case, and he secretly lives in the boarding house, believing that his work will skyrocket in value after his "death".

Monkeyman! and Buses, Bikes, and Subways

Monkeyman!: Arnold meets a vigilante named Monkeyman after he saves him from criminals. He introduces him into normal life, with devastating effects as he abdicates his usual duties.

Buses, Bikes, and Subways: While on a field trip to a chocolate factory, Helga and Harold get left behind and must work together to find a way home. 

Helga's Masquerade and Mr. Green Runs 

Helga's Masquerade: Helga decides to act and dress like Lila in a bid to win Arnold's attention.

Mr. Green Runs: Mr. Green decides to run for councilman after tiring of rival Councilman Gladhand's laziness.

Bag of Money: Sid, Gerald, and Arnold find a bag of money in an alley. When Arnold loses it to a strange woman, he is suspected of taking the money himself. Gerald is the only one who believes him.

Principal Simmons: Mr. Simmons becomes principal after Principal Wartz has one too many outbursts. 

New Bully on the Block and Pheobe Breaks a Leg

New Bully on the Block: A new bully arrives, who fights with Arnold and Wolfgang over the vacant lot. 

Phoebe Breaks a Leg: Phoebe breaks her leg after being hit by a bus while running errands for Helga, who feels horrible and attends to her every whim. She likes the attention and pretends to be injured a little while longer.

Helga's Locket and Sid and Germs 

Helga's Locket: Helga gets an inscription about Arnold inside her Arnold locket, but has it stolen by his pet pig Abner, forcing her to yet again infiltrate the boarding house to retrieve it.

Sid and Germs: After seeing a movie about germs in school, Sid becomes obsessed with cleanliness, just in time for the frog-catching contest against the 5th Grade. 

Suspended: Harold hates school so much that he deliberately gets himself suspended.

Ernie in Love: Ernie meets a plus-sized woman, but feels insecure that one like her would be interested in a man like him.


Summer Love: Arnold goes on vacation to the beach with his grandparents and the other boarders, intending to get away from Helga who, as usual, has been harassing him. Much to both of their surprises, Helga and her parents are also there.

Beaned: Helga is knocked unconscious when a baseball strikes her on the head and gets amnesia.

Old Iron Man: Grandpa Phil's old friend (Jimmy Kafka) comes to the boarding house for a visit.

Stuck in a Tree: Arnold and Harold get stuck in a tree with Eugene when they try to help him get down from it.

Rhonda Goes Broke: When Rhonda and her parents suddenly become poor, they are forced to move into Arnold's boarding house.
Arnold Visits Arnie: Arnold is going to visit his weird cousin, Arnie and dreams that there are a bunch of character look-a-likes.

Chocolate Boy: Wolfgang dares Chocolate Boy to quit his obsession of chocolate for a week.  

Harold vs. Patty: Harold becomes humiliated when he loses to Big Patty in an arm wrestling match.

Rich Guy: Arnold tries to get a rich entrepreneur and his son to bond together.

Gerald's Game: Gerald becomes addicted to a role-playing card game, which strains his friendship with Arnold.

Fishing Trip: The boys and their fathers get into all sorts of mishaps while on a fishing trip. Davy Jones guest-stars as himself.

On the Lam: Harold, Sid, and Stinky hide from the law after thinking they blew up the police station.

Family Man: Mr. Hyunh wants to be the new head chef at the restaurant he works for.

 The Racing Mule: Oskar, Ernie, and Mr. Hyunh train a horse to win a race, along with help from Arnold.

Curly's Girl: Rhonda's mother's coat gets dirtied. Curly offers to clean it for her in his parents' dry cleaning store on one condition: They agree to, publicly, be a couple, much to her disgust.

Timberly Loves Arnold: Gerald's little sister Timberly falls for Arnold after playing in the park. He uses her as a way of getting Lila's attention.

Eugene, Eugene!: Arnold and his friends take part in the musical Eugene, Eugene. Eugene, who gets the lead role, is outraged when the ending of the play is altered, and he and Arnold conspire to restore the play back to its original ending.

Ghost Bride: After Gerald's urban tale, the kids go looking for a murderous ghost whose fiancé left her at the altar. They look for her in a cemetery, but Helga and Curly both have other ideas.

Gerald vs. Jamie O: Gerald acquires a crush on his new neighbor, Chloe. It turns out that she only spends time with him to see his brother, Jamie O.

A Day in the Life of a Classroom: A film crew shoots a documentary of Mr. Simmons' class to be screened on TV, but he feels that they should follow a script, rather than be spontaneous.

Big Bob's Crisis: Bob becomes brainwashed by a cult, and he and his family live without material possessions, much to Helga's horror.

 Grandpa's Packard: When Grandpa's beloved Packard is stolen when it wins a car contest, it is up to Arnold and Grandma to find the thief.

Phoebe's Little Problem: Phoebe is ashamed after she farts into a microphone in front of the whole school.

Married: Arnold and Helga are paired together by Rhonda's origami marriage predictor. They both dream that night what it would be like if they were married. The episode is noticeable as perhaps being the best evidence of his own suppressed affection for her, as she nearly confesses her love for him in his own dreams. 

April Fools Day: After being the victim of many of Helga's April Fools pranks, Arnold gets revenge.

The Journal: Arnold finds a diary and map that belonged to his parents, which shows their possible current location. This episode is the un-intentional finale, due to the fact the Jungle Movie was never made.
